Louise Hayes

Executive Director Digital Health 

Louise Hayes is the Executive Director of Digital Health and Knowledge Management at Townsville Hospital and Health Service. Louise is an experienced digital health enthusiast and health informatician, working across the health sector for over 20 years, in areas of strategy development, eHealth foundation design and implementation of electronic medical record solutions.

Qualifying as a CHIA (Certified Health Informatician Australiasia) in 2014 as one of Australia’s inaugural certified practitioners, she has confirmed her passion and growth into the digital health profession and demonstrated this through her many commitments of mentoring, lecturing, presenting at conferences, conducting workshops, writing articles, and Chairing the Health Informatics Society of Australia, Queensland Branch.

Robyn Copley

Nursing Director Clinical Informatics Strategist  

Robyn has been working at the THHS for more than 20 years. During this time Robyn has held a number of Clinical and Nursing Management roles across the health service. A vast experience and knowledge of health service people, systems and process has been gained working in Client Liaison,  Patient Safety and a number of Nursing Director roles. Robyn has been involved in many clinical improvement projects over the years with health service and state wide networks. “Very early in my career I was driven to understand processes and then work with others to improve them. I started out with small unit based changes, then progressed to being part of a number of major and complex projects affecting the THHS.  Healthcare is such a complex and exciting industry to work in and I strongly believe the ieMR is rich with potential to improve the way we deliver patient care”.

Senior Applications Manager 
Paul joined the ieMR team in January 2015 as Project Manager for the Digital Release and to assist with implementation of the Release 1 & 2 goLIVE.

He came to the team with 19 years of IT and Project Management experience across Defence, Commercial, and Government Enterprise. Prior to joining Qld Health, he successfully delivered a portfolio of IT Infrastructure and Applications projects within Fujitsu, Aurizon and the Northern Territory Government.

Paul recently completed a Graduate Certificate of Business at JCU and managed the Advanced Release team, as Project Director, during the recent MARS goLive.
